Testimonials
Inspired by my mother, I overcame challenges in education and unemployment. The Women Techsters Fellowship was crucial for my career aspirations. I earned my Cybersecurity certification in 2022 and now work as a Cyber Offense Analyst at Esentry. My goal is to get a master's degree in cybersecurity to gain expertise necessary for the mentorship of newcomers in the field.

Determined to break the generational cycle of teenage pregnancies in my family, I joined the Women Techsters Fellowship after struggling to afford a Data Science MSc. The training equipped me with valuable tech and soft skills. While working as a receptionist, my boss discovered my projects, and I was promoted to Data Analyst in 2023. Thanks to Tech4Dev, I’m now on a clear path in tech.

After NYSC and job hunting with a Mass Communication degree, I turned to tech to improve my prospects. The Women Techsters Fellowship gave me hands-on training in UX Design and essential soft skills. I started with an internship through Tech4Dev and was retained full-time. Now, I design user experiences at Cenos Technology. This journey reshaped my future.

Driven to merge epidemiology, biostatistics, and tech, I joined the Women Techsters Fellowship to deepen my Data Science skills. Despite being displaced to an IDP camp during training, I stayed committed—joining classes by phone and finishing as the second-best student in my cohort. Now a Lecturer, I aim to use data to solve health challenges and give back through research and volunteering.

Feeling stuck in my tech journey, I applied for the Women Techsters Fellowship after seeing it on Twitter. Despite doubts, I got in and it became the foundation for learning Software Development. I’ve built landing pages and expanded my skills. Now, as Head of Base Management at Vumatel ISP, I support my family and live the independence they worked so hard to give me.

Transitioning from Graphics to Product Design took a year of online learning and the Women Techsters Fellowship. During the program, I built functional products, beyond just beautiful designs, and worked on apps with my team. My dedication paid off when a company offered me a Graphics Design internship. After sharing my Tech4Dev experience, I was accepted as a full-time Graphic Designer and Product Design intern to gain more experience.

Rejected from the first Women Techsters cohort in 2021, I reapplied with determination and was thrilled to be accepted into the second. The training sharpened my Frontend skills, from designing in Figma to building real websites, while soft skills classes boosted my confidence. Today, I work as a Junior Software Developer at Leanois — proof that perseverance and Tech4Dev changed my journey in tech.

With a passion for fixing things and a legal background, I joined the Women Techsters Fellowship to fully transition into tech. The program gave me unwavering support, crucial tech skills, and soft skills that usually take years to develop. I’m now studying for a Master’s in Software Development in Poland and have just secured a role as a Presentation Specialist at JP Morgan.

Inspired by a design I saw online, I began self-learning tech in 2020. The journey was tough until I joined the Women Techsters Bootcamp. The training deepened my understanding of design principles and tools like Figma and AdobeXD. Now, I work as a UI/UX Designer at CRC Credit Bureau and look forward to making impact through Product Design.

I began my tech journey in 2018, driven by a passion for Product Design, especially in web3 and FinTech. The Women Techsters Fellowship sharpened my skills and leadership; earning me selection as a North African Representative and project team lead. My proudest moment was mentoring girls during the Tech Girls Advocacy drive. Tech4Dev equipped me with the skills and network to thrive as a Product Designer.

With a background in Physiotherapy and a passion for Product Design, I joined the Women Techsters Fellowship after being inspired by the 2022 Bootcamp. The program sharpened my technical and soft skills, connected me to brilliant minds across Africa, and cemented my transition into tech. Today, I work as a Product Designer at Paymish. I am grateful to Tech4Dev for propelling my journey forward.

As a single mother of twin girls studying Business Administration, I joined the Women Techsters Bootcamp to build a career in Product Management. Despite becoming a teenage mum at 17 and pausing school to work, I persevered. The training boosted my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Now, I’m focused on building a career in tech, applying for the Fellowship, and giving back through volunteering.

With a background in Sociology, I ventured into Product Design in 2021, seeking a structured platform to grow. Joining the Women Techsters Fellowship deepened my design skills, boosted my soft skills, and connected me with a vibrant learning community. Today, I work as a Content Designer at Wetech; grateful to Tech4Dev for illuminating my path and accelerating my transition into the tech industry.

With two Philosophy degrees, I believed the future was technological and wanted to create products that improve lives. Joining the Women Techsters Fellowship equipped me with core Product Management skills through hands-on projects and soft skill sessions. Today, I work as an Associate Product Manager and Innovation Executive at iTekku — and this is just the beginning of my journey to build impactful tech products.
