Equipping women across Africa with technical skills to enhance their earning potential and economic influence

To bridge the digital gender gap between men and women, the Women Techsters Initiative is implemented through two approaches

Advocacy

Advocacy

We designed advocacy programs to encourage girls and women to pursue technology education or careers, and to provide them with the information they need to succeed.

Skilling

We created the skilling programs to equip women with the technical and soft skills needed to build technology careers and businesses.

Skilling Programs

The Women Techsters Bootcamp is a 3-week monthly training designed to introduce women and girls to intermediate-level technology skills along 5 learning paths to help them jump-start careers or fill in knowledge gaps from emerging technologies.

A 1-year virtual program that provides 6 months of intensive training, a 6-month internship based on performance, and an enrolment into mentorship program to equip women with skills for tech careers and tech-enabled businesses.
